Limited Two-Year Lighter Warranty Service

Most issues can be easily resolved by simply following the instructions in our troubleshooting guide. If your Colibri lighter still requires service after you have reviwed the troubleshooting guide, please follow the instructions below carefully.

To obtain service under the limited two-year warranty, please send your qualifying Colibri brand lighter to Colibri Group for replacement. Please enclose a check for $9.50, for shipping and handling, made payable to "Colibri Group".

  • Do NOT ship your lighter in the original packaging. Ship only your lighter, the warranty card and a copy of the original dated sales receipt.
  • Be sure to completely drain any fuel in the lighter before shipping to Colibri Group. Shipping lighters with butane/fuel through the U.S. Post Office or any of the major carriers is prohibited.
  • Please include your complete contact information including your full mailing address, daytime telephone number and email address.
  • If your lighter is determined to be under warranty, we will replace it with the same item, if available, or a comparable item of similar retail value. Lighters received by Colibri Group that do NOT meet warranty qualifications may be replaced with the same or equitable retail value lighter for an additional fee.
  • All lighters shipped back to you will be new and unfueled. You will need to fill your lighter with Colibri butane before use.
  • The original lighters sent in will not be returned to you. It is our policy to dispose of all lighters that have been replaced. In the case of engraved lighters or lighters of sentimental value you will need to contact us through customer service at 1-800-556-7354 to determine if we may be able to repair your lighter.
  • We assume no responsibility for items received by Colibri Group that are left unclaimed after 3 months and they will be discarded as abandoned merchandise.
