Flames
- Jet
- A thin blue laser-like wind resistant flame that burns at approximately 1600 degrees.
- Angled
- A single jet flame angled away from the cap to provide more space for lighting larger items.
- Vortex
- Two jet flames angled inward toward each other creating a hotter flame above.
- Triple
- Three jet flames placed in a triangular pattern pointed straight up.
- Inline Triple
- Three Jet Flame placed in a row and angled toward the center flame.

Ignitions
- Flint Jet
- Same mechanism as a flint roller except butane gas is released by pushing a secondary switch. This ignition creates a single jet flame.
- Flint Roller
- A mechanism in which a roller bar turns a spark wheel against a flint creating sparks which ignites the butane gas. This type of lighter releases butane gas as soon as the the cap is opened, and creates a soft flame.
- Piezo
- This ignition provides a spark electronically without the aid of a battery, and is the most common igniton used in the Colibri line.
Performance
- Wind Resistant
- A standard jet flame is commonly referred to as wind-resistant.
- Windproof
- A flame which uses a heated platinum coil to keep the butane burning.
